The Federal Council has adopted the dispatch on the Passenger Name Records (PNR) Act. This new PNR system helps to combat terrorism and protects Switzerland as a business location. AEROSUISSE welcomes the introduction of the PNR Act; in the consultation process, it had argued that Switzerland should introduce a globally harmonised system and only collect data that is actually linked to the fight against terrorism and crime.
