By approving the revision of the Aviation Act, the National Council is lending its support to the Swiss aviation sector. Safeguarding the existing operating hours of Switzerland's national airports is of central importance for Switzerland as an aviation hub.
The principle of “Just Culture” is also enshrined in the law.
